“I've only given 4 stars because it would've been helpful to have installation directions included in the package. The installation is easy, very easy, but it took me a few minutes to figure it out. I was trying to open the hinges, they don't open, they slide to the side, then slide over the plastic bolt.It's a good toilet seat, looks attractive, is quite comfortable, and I love the price.”
“I'm new to doing my own home repairs and don't think I was ready for it to be so quick and easy to install. Before opening the box, I laid out a screwdriver, as well as vicegrips in case I ran into trouble. As an extra precaution, I watched the video instructions on the CHURCH website (printed directions not in box). Now I'm looking forward to slipping it off to clean - the unique and amazing feature of this seat.”
“I like the toilet seat, but the screws did not fit with the make of our toilet. Fortunately, the prior toilet seat screws that go below fit, so I used those instead of the ones that came with this seat.”
“The church gentle close seat is great except for one thing. When cleaning, the finish literally comes off on my sponge. It is white with the paint coming off. I should be able to clean the thing with strong cleaners. It is a toilet after all. Otherwise, it was easy to install and it's comfortable and quiet.”
