“So it fits pretty well compared to the old seat dimensions however the install was difficult as this uses an above lock/release system where the bolts are connected directly to the porcelain and the seat sits on top with a lock cap. No instructions so good luck lol. Took me about 10 minutes to realize how it installs lol.”
“My builder grade home had these toilet seats for only a year. They get so discolored from any type of cleaning products so please be careful. I’ve bought the same exact seat for easy replacement it and I will be much more careful this time. Use only Lysol wipes and hot water plus dish soap. Anything else will discolor and turn your toilet seat a nasty yellow.”
“I saw this in another review and should have heeded as a warning.. this comes with plastic bolts & wing nuts, which wouldn't be a deal breaker if the wing nuts didn't suck. They have a "wing" on one side only, and the wing is too long so it didn't clear the toilet base for my toilet. I ended up having to break the wings off, and had to use pliers to tighten the bolts. What a pain in the butt! Likely to damage them beyond use should they need tightening, ugh..”
“I clean my toilet often, I'm no slob. This toilet is only used by 1 person so it doesn't get a lot of traffic. But this seat stains and discolors badly. It lacks a wipeable finish and stains just absorb. I do NOT recommend.”
“This is an overall good replacement part for my toilet. My original seat broke near the hinge and I looked online for a new seat. I was lucky that this is a simple fix with screwdriver and elbow grease. It does not fit every toilet, but it fit mine with no issues. Check toilet for compatibility, but this is easy to install if it comes with yours.”
“I was impressed with the ease of installation, once I figured it out. Unfortunately, some instructions would have improved the situation. Hence 4 stars instead of 5 stars.”
