Perfect replacement (I mean exact) on a State Select GS6-50-YBRT. In fact, the A. O. Smith part that matches the part number in the service manual did not look the same and did not come with a new piezo igniter, and it costs less. Do not hesitate, comes just like the picture with installation instructions. My pilot would light and stay lit, so I knew it wasn't the thermocouple. The burner would cut off after running for about 30 seconds and the pilot would go out as well. Had to be the GCV. Sure enough. Replaced and all is working fine. Repairman quoted me $350 to fix with the part. I bought the part for less than $100 and did it myself.

Fixed my burner problem. My problem was pilot turned on but burner goes out immediately. I turned the gas control to pilot and held down, pressed the ignitor, pilot came on, held the gas control for 1 minute then turn the knob to on position the pilot stood on, turned thermostat to desire temp. The burner will turn on and go out. I tried 2 different new thermocoupling still the same issue. I bought this product and it still didn't fix until i pushed the thermocoupling a bit further in. That fixed the issue.
