“Feels cheap, and scares me to tighten nuts on it... but I guess it's pretty much a one and done thing. Works fantastic. Convenient. Only thing I didn't like was that I had to buy the two 1" inlet nuts. So that was $15 and another couple of days to get from plumbingsupplyandmore. They don't sell them in the big box stores FYI.”
“I recently installed a PEX manifold for a whole-house plumbing system, and it's been working perfectly. The manifold had plenty of space for hose bibs, a kitchen, and multiple bathrooms. Since there were a lot of steps involved in the process and some things you should know about this manifold, I've made this list of things to consider when buying this manifold:- you'll need to mount it; I made a wooden box with holes for all the PEX piping to come into; I mounted mine on a concrete wall, so first attached a PT 2x8 to the wall for the manifold to screw to- you'll need more than just this manifold to set it up; you'll also need at least two of these”
