In the process of remodeling my one hundred year home water pipes were a must. The manifold was a simple way to manage water supply allowing me to shut off flow to any fixture in the house. Easy install no leaks and straightforward instructions.

My first experience with PEX -- and this manifold works great and allows me to replace fixture groups one at a time.

I purchased this for a basement remodel we are doing on our 1956 built house. I replaced all the copper with Pex, and used this manifold to feed the Pex. Part of the remodel included adding a basement bath and a proper laundry room. This is where I miscalculated the ports.I could have used a port for the dishwasher...just because. My laundry room is sharing hot and cold between the washer hookup and the laundry tub. A minor issue, but if you going to have shutoffs for everything else. Oh, and I forgot the RO system. It is shared with the laundry as well. One caveat, after hooking up the parts of the house I lived it, and turning the upper right valve on, the valve popped and water jetted out across the basement. I pushed the valve back in, but the rubber O ring bulged and made the jet even stronger. The back of the valves are just little snap connectors. Once the pressure was reduced, I was able to squeeze the snap connectors, repair the valve O ring, and with eyes squeezed shut, put pressure to the system. I have not had a problem since. Also, make sure you Pex is coming into the manifold as straight as possible. Any pressure up, down, for, or aft will cause a drip, and over tightening can break the manifold. None of my connections are more than hand tight, and holding firm.

It would have been a 5 star if I could have used it. I had needed 1/2" outlet coupling and I thought it stated as such. If I had read the reviews I would have read that these are 3/4" outlet coupling for 1/2" lines. This was a replacement. Because all my fittings were 90 degrees with no wiggle room, the coupling need to be exact fit.

I used this on a remodeling project and I couldn't be happier. It is a well-built product and was easy to use. It has cold water inlet on one end and a cold water outlet and hot water return on the other end for the water heater. It is better priced than comparable products. I plan on buying them for all my plumbing projects.

Our manifold went out on our 05 Motor home and it was cold walking to the bath house. Ordered this part and it was perfect. Easy installation.

I am in the process of what started out as a basic cleanup of a 1950's house that we bought to basically gutting the whole thing due to rodent damage and the hundreds of shortcuts the previous owner took with plumbing, electrical, and well...just about everything else.I decided to use PEX instead of CPVC... and I am happy with my choice. Easy to install, crimp rings are a phenomenal thing and easy to install... so when it came to distribution, I decided to get two different manifolds...this one and a larger one for the other side of the house. I may not use all of the ports, but it does allow me to add a fixture/ feature one at a time without ever disrupting another. For example I have a sink with hot and cold water, an outside spigot, and toilet...adding in the shower was great as I never had to "cut in" and add the branch. The reverse holds true too-- have an issue with something? Turn it off...and only it. Makes easier work of things and also being labeled I can easily label each port.
