“It is easy to install. It is very difficult to completely empty the hot water side even blowing the system out with compressed air. I have had two crack in an unheated cabin due to trapped water freezing in the manifold. I spent another $200 for a third unit as an immediate fix but I will look for a better, more reliable option. One that can be completely emptied. There is not that much to the manifold, so I might fab one out of 3/4" pex that can be completely emptied.”
“Just like everyone else, it would have been nice and saved me a week if I had known the "fittings" were a second purchase that at least at my local hardware stores.. are not kept in stock.”
