I wanted quick change, durability, and a non-round dumbbell that won’t roll away on a garage floor. All the reviews on these talk about the cage. Doesn’t bother me at all. If anything I actually prefer it. If you’re on the fence just go to Dick’s and try the Elite EXP. But I’d go with the Elite USA every time for the metal knurled handle and the fact that they’re USA made. These dumbbells are quick change, durable, non-round, and you won’t have plates falling all over the floor if you change weights without going back to the cradle. Because there is no cradle. They’re also the cheapest of the quick change options. Just get them. Now that I have them I wonder why it took me so long to decide. Awesome product that is time tested.”

“Easy order and set up. Once you get comfortable with the weight increments they’re super easy to use. Still wish there was an easy solution to get to some of the 2.5 lb weights like 12.5, 20.5, etc., but I knew what I was getting. They take up significantly less room than other adjustable dumbbells, makes some exercises easier. Very happy overall.”

“Bought the PowerBlock Elite 90. They are better balanced than I had thought, simliar to the normal solid, one-weight dumbells we all have. The plates to rattle a bit, but that is not a big deal. So easy to switch weight capacity - which is why I bought them. I have plenty of adjustable dumbells - you just have to unscrew them and change the plates each time you change exercised. Not anymore with the PB Elite 90. Takes seconds to change weights.”
