This course exceeded all my expectation! The instructors were knowledgeable, warm, and engaging. The course was very accessible, offering an easy, learn-from-home experience with a good mix of teaching, practice, and Q&A. The content was practical, immediately applicable, and deeply relevant to work with perinatal anxiety. Nothing else has equipped me better to coach clients struggling in this area. I use the skills from this course regularly and consistently see the transformation in my clients. I would highly recommend this course to anyone working with new and expecting moms, from beginning coaches to licensed therapists.

I took the course over a year ago-but it was incredibly thorough and provided ample opportunity to connect with fellow coaches, the company founders, and practice the skills being taught/in the manual. I have used these tools in other areas of my life aside from my role as a coach.

The CBT training at Prospera was exceptionally clear, well-taught, and immediately applicable. The instructors, Andrea Niles and Sarah Stanger, are both highly skilled psychologists, and their ability to translate CBT concepts into simple, practical tools stood out. I’ve rarely experienced CBT taught in a way that felt both clinically sound and accessible. What made this training especially impactful was the emphasis on experiential learning. Through live role-plays and real coaching demonstrations, I gained an embodied understanding of how to apply CBT frameworks in actual sessions—not just in theory. As a nationally board-certified coach, this training meaningfully strengthened my confidence and effectiveness in using CBT in a directive, ethical, and client-centered way. I highly recommend this course to coaches and mental-health–adjacent professionals seeking high-quality CE training that bridges evidence-based theory with embodied, real-world application.

As someone who has taken many trainings, schooling, and practiced across numerous modalities as a practitioner, yoga teacher, and coach, I found this program to be uniquely affirming of the skills I already had while meaningfully expanding my development in working with clients. While I had been using elements of CBT for years, I had never been able to articulate those skills in a clear, clinical, and teachable way until taking this course. What stood out most was the depth of focus on working with moms and perinatal anxiety, an area I hadn’t previously worked in with this level of specificity or confidence, especially not having personal experience as a mom. The training provided a strong, compassionate framework for understanding the nuanced mental and emotional experiences of mothers, while also offering practical tools I could immediately apply in my coaching work. As nerve-wracking as role-plays can be, they became one of the most effective components of the training, pushing me to think even more on my feet than I already have throughout my 15 years in the wellness industry. I left feeling more confident, more precise in my language, and genuinely excited. This training didn’t just expand my skill set; it set me up for success in what has quickly become another favorite niche within women’s health.

The training was efficient and effective for using CBT to help clients manage anxiety, depression, birth trauma and anger. The manual is extremely thorough and is a great tool for those that are unfamiliar with CBT and are new to this form of coaching. During the training, I especially enjoyed the role-plays as this practice allowed us to truly engage with the material and test its effectiveness. The lectures and the example videos were also very helpful to ensure that we truly understood CBT and the clients that we’d be working with. Overall, I felt prepared for coaching after attending the training so I definitely recommend it.

The course content was incredibly thorough and informative on how to best serve women through all areas around the perinatal experience and the challenges it often presents. The presentation of material, the role-plays and the videos of the techniques in practice prepares a coach to best serve their clients. I highly recommend this course.
