“Prospera has been crucial in my recovery process and birth experience with going to the Nicu with my firstborn daughter. I’ve had space to heal and learned to cope with tools & techniques I wouldn’t have had without this empowering service!”
“Unsurprisingly, the transition into being a mom has been the biggest change of my life so far. I worked with an incredible Prospera coach from 30 weeks pregnant through to 4 months postpartum, and she was my touchstone. She helped me chart out a roadmap with goals and ambitions, and then walked with me along the way as I had questions, stumbles, wins and surprises. Our weekly sessions were a retreat where I could offload, a place I gained new tools and a consistent reminder to keep investing in myself. As a platform, Prospera was also incredibly understanding and flexible as changes came up in my schedule or subscription needs. I really encourage anyone to check it out if they’re at all curious. Thanks again Prospera and team.”
“I am a psychiatry resident with training in traditional psychotherapy; Prospera has been life-changing for me. I prefer to work with a coach who is experienced with perinatal clients over a trained therapist who does not understand the perinatal experience; the firsthand knowledge of what it means to be a mom makes a world of difference. My coach is experienced and kind, and she is helping me to advocate for myself during my second pregnancy in a way which I was not able to do with my first, and which I don't think would have been achievable for me with traditional therapy. Really grateful to have found Prospera.”
“I've had such a good experience so far with Prospera. Not only was it easy to set up timely sessions, but I couldn't have been matched with a better coach. The sessions provide me with more clarity and language to address my mental health challenges peripartum, and prepare for postpartum recovery. I am starting to put the tools I've learned in Prospera into practice and I am once again feeling productive, energized, and excited for the future.”
“I am very pleased with the therapy and help that I have received! My sister suggested this to me, and I had never heard of it before, and when she told me about it she wished that it was there for her when she was postpartum and she wants to use it in the future. At first there was a phone interview, and I was asked what I wanted to get out of Pospera and the nice lady was able to give me a few of the best therapists that would best help me in the areas that I talked about based on the answers to the questions. My therapist is amazing! Her name is Tamra Wiser, and she has been a great listener and helping hand through my postpartum journey. We have made goals each week with just a few assignments to work on that have helped me feel accomplished and valued as a mom and woman. I had a rough start after my birth recovery, and I am so glad that I chose Prospera to help me through it. I feel valued as my feelings are important, I am not alone, and that things will get better! I have felt a lot of relief through the thoughtful exercises I have been given that help me to process my emotions. I love how behavior oriented my journey has been, and I am able to pinpoint what emotions are prominent and how to improve them through simple acts every day. I also have been able to work through my birth trauma, and I have an safe place to do so. I definitely suggest Prospera to any women who are needing help! I wish that I would have gotten help sooner while I was pregnant because that’s when my anxiety and depression started. I am so glad that I started though and I am on an amazing journey to better myself!”
“I’ve been loving working with Shannon! It’s honestly just been so nice to chat with someone weeks who “gets it” and has the tools/resources geared towards moms specifically. It’s truly exactly what I’ve been looking for. I love the whole framework, goal setting and hw. Shannon is also an amazing listener so I look forward to chatting with her and she totally understands if I just need to vent, ramble, take a pause, etc. Super grateful to have found Prospera and Shannon :)”
“I have loved prospera since my first day. All of my feelings are always validated. My coach always helps me work through my thoughts after she explains that it's all normal and okay. No other kind of therapy has helped. As a new mom I definitely recommend trying out
prospera.”
“The coaching experience through Prospera has been really helpful, especially for this period of postpartum. Talking about hard feelings, giving them air and space, realizing it’s normal and ok, and practicing how to think about my thoughts (and myself) differently, have all been very helpful for me to process this time period. Highly recommend for anyone needing help during this time, which I would imagine is a lot more Mother’s than we think.”
“I like that it's centered around activities/assignments. Traditional talk therapy has not historically been successful for me. With Prospera, I continue referring back to the assignments and that's been helpful in addition to talking through them with my coach.”
“I have really benefited from Prospera. My therapist is kind and not judgmental. I was also really impressed that she was able to read into somethings I am struggling with without me actually saying so. She knew what was going on before I did.”
“I’ve been working my therapist Marie for a little over a month now and I can say that it’s nice to have someone that understands your day to day struggles as a new mom. She has been literally walking me through this new phase of my life by helping me overcome my postpartum and my anxiety. If you’re a new mom and are seeking therapy & not sure where to start, please give Prospera a try.”
“It’s so easy!!!! I like that Prospera is subscription based so I was able to just get started and work on finding the right fit during my journey instead of switching offices if I didn’t find the right fit. That was the biggest hurdle for me after my last pregnancy and ultimately why I never got help before.
Also, being able to do everything from my phone helps me actually get this done. I can work on reading helpful articles during middle of the night breastfeeding which is mentally my most difficult time of the day. I was even able to take care of my son (feed/burp/change) during one of my virtual therapy sessions which was really great. I didn’t have to stress about finding childcare coverage or leaving him. I didn’t even realize that was another hurdle for me the last time!!!”
“Justine saved me from going down a very dark, lonely and difficult motherhood path. She offers a kind listening ear and advice when needed. She helped me reframe my focus and I can now bask in the joys of life/motherhood without (as much) fear, something I was scared I might not be able to do again. I owe so much to her and Prospera! Thank you!”
“I found this almost a year postpartum and it’s made a world of difference! I’m more aware of my triggers and behaviors and just the awareness and validation of where I struggle has been game changing. My coach has been the best match and it feels like you’re talking with a friend. Love the flexibility to customize your plan and schedule according to my progress and needs.”
“I am a first time mom and needed guidance on how to manage my anxiety. Prospera really helped me manage my anxiety and now I am able to feel happy and be present with my baby. I am forever grateful for the help I received and would recommend this to all new mamas.”
“This program helped me navigate postpartum anxiety and birth trauma in an easy and understanding way . I’m very thankful that Google brought be here when I was searching for help. Melissa is an exceptional coach.”
“So happy I found Prospera! My coach is very easy to talk to and share my emotions with without feeling judgement. I highly recommend Prospera for all mommas who need a little extra support.”
