We're sorry to hear about the difficulties. Although PureSleep is one of the smaller devices on the market, it still occupies space in the mouth. In many cases, refitting the device to make a deeper impression has the effect of making the device take up less space because your teeth penetrate further into the material. Wearing a chin strap has also been beneficial for many people to prevent the mouth from falling open during sleep, as this will reduce the effectiveness and resulting in drooling, etc., as you have seen. One final tip that has worked for some people is to sleep on their side rather than their back so the jaw is less prone to fall open.
