The device is okay, but it has caused me jaw pain while wearing. It took me 2 days to feel better. Therefore, I haven't been able to use the advice like I hoped.

I've been using the device for years, so easy, comfortable, and it works. It takes several days to get used to having something in your mouth, but after that you just pop it in and go to sleep.

Has been helpful. It is a thick device but is reasonable compared to permanent options that insurance doesn't cover.it is a good device to prepare you for the more permanent one. Recommend

Hi Gregory,

Hi Gregory—Thanks for trying PureSleep. PureSleep is a "boil and bite" mouthguard designed to mold to your teeth. The reason for this is so the device will fit your teeth more closely and stay in place throughout the night, preventing slippage and giving you better relief from snoring than similar devices that you don't fit to your teeth. For fitting support, please contact our specialists via phone or submit a ticket on our website (puresleep.com). We want to help you succeed with PureSleep. Or, if you'd rather receive a replacement device or refund, just contact us within 60 days of purchase. \n\nKind regards, Chris

So, set up is easy. Plan on sore teeth for a week or two and lots of ibuprofen. I drool only half the time during use. Realistically, this device is NOT a long term solution for snoring or apnea. I will probably be returning it.

We're sorry to hear about the difficulty you encountered using PureSleep. Jaw soreness in the morning for a few nights after starting use is common but usually abates quickly with a little self-massage in the morning and usually disappears after a few minutes. Morning soreness for more than five nights is a contraindication for continued use and may suggest that the jaw was advanced too far during fitting. If you'd like to try refitting PureSleep to less advancement to see if this is more comfortable, please reach out to customer support and we'd be happy to send you a replacement device free of charge. We warrant your satisfaction with PureSleep for 60 days following purchase, so if you don't want a free replacement and would prefer to return the device for a refund using the prepaid return shipping label in your order, let us know. Drooling can sometimes manifest as a side effect of wearing any mouthpiece during sleep but can sometimes be mitigated by using a chinstrap. PureSleep is not intended to treat sleep apnea and has not been cleared by the FDA for this purpose. Therefore, people who are already successfully treating their sleep apnea should certainly not discontinue their current treatment and shift to using PureSleep. That said, obstructive sleep apnea is not a contraindication for PureSleep, so it’s not likely to be harmful to people who would not otherwise take any action to treat their obstructive sleep apnea. Nonetheless, we strongly recommend that all such people discuss the use of PureSleep for this purpose with their doctors.
