Hi Beth! Thank you for traveling with Quasar and also for taking the time to answer our survey following your once-in-a-lifetime trip with us. We took a look at your responses and wanted to address some of the items that were brought to our attention. Our Guides always do their daily briefings after sunset, typically right before dinner, to ensure that everyone is on the same page. This should've been the case on your cruise! In regards to the salad plates and sauce spoons, these are always provided to our Guests on all of our yachts. But, we'll bring this comment to the attention of our hospitality department and the cruise director aboard the yacht to make sure nothing was missed. Lastly, referring to the size of the hot tub aboard our boats, we're actually one of the only cruise companies in Galapagos that provides oversized hot tubs on its yachts. We've seen 50-passenger ships with only one, 4-person hot tub, making it impossible for Guests to even try to get in after returning from snorkeling. We wish we could make the hot tub even larger, but because of the ship design and weight restrictions in that part of the yacht, a bigger hot tub would mean adding a lot of extra water weight that could affect stability. “Judy and I just returned from a trip on the Grace. I am sure you will receive many comments and photos from our party. We can not overstate how much we enjoyed our adventure. The crew and our team of naturalists were charming, thoughtful, professional and devoted to their guests... and to the Galapagos. The Grace was immaculate and comfortable. The food was fantastic. We literally were on a resort on the move. We recommend Quasar without reservation to others who enjoy first-class travel and want the opportunity to learn about and experience a unique natural wonder. Thanks so much.”
