“I have owned the Kuat NV 2 Bike 2 inch for nearly two years. I travelled with it extensively through all harsh weather conditions. The velcro straps went first, they did not lasted very long. The movable arm to hold the front wheels in place not always hold well, you need to apply hard pressure for them to stay and with hard shaking, they do not stay in place. The metal shows some light rust. I expected the Bike Rack to support my heavy 4" Tire electric bikes and I think it has done the job well, I also expected to provide me with a secure and safe ways to transport my bikes during months long trips and it has. The price was for a high quality bike rack and has delivered those important benefits. I just wish would last longer.”

“This is the strongest, sturdiest bike rack I have ever owned. It can accommodate 2 bikes, and I have an accessory rack that fits on the end which allows two more bikes to be added. Even with 4 bikes the rack is very stable and able to handle even heavy mountain bikes, e-bikes, etc. It has a pretty good locking system (locks to your Class III hitch opening, and cable locks for your bikes that stow away with a magnetic holder - very convenient). Be aware, the 2 bike setup is rather heavy (not bad for someone who is fit; easier with two) and the 4 bike setup requires 2 people to move it and place it on your hitch. The 2 bike setup also has a bike repair vice which I've never used but could be useful for tire changing etc. Overall I'd rate it excellent.”

“This bike rack has been excellent for me. It’s sturdy, has a nice mount to use for light maintenance, and has tough locks built in. This has been perfect for 2 bikes. I need to buy the extension so I can carry 4 bikes. I would highly recommend this particular rack. I’ve also used Thule, which has good rooftop carriers, but their hitch mounted bike rack does not feel nearly as strong or secure.”
