“I love this rack so far - very sturdy with good cushioning. The rubber covers for the strap buckles are a nice touch. Installation on my Subaru Outback with after market Forerunner roof rack was easy. I've only used it with a paddle board so far but it worked out great. For a kayak I definitely recommend that you get some Yak Gear EZ Loops and some Better than Bungee tie downs as someone else has suggested. I'm getting two additional kayaks and this rack is the only reasonable solution I've found to accommodate both my SUP and the kayaks (just not at the same time of course).”
