“Wanted to love machine but coffee from it lacked flavor. Increasing the amount of coffee ground used by 50% (which, btw, affects 'price' of unit), the color increased (and it seemed like caffeine also) but flavor was still substantially weaker than from my cone filter apparatus (at normal coffee ground amount). Two other users had exact same reaction. Seems like the flat bottom filter is main problem.”

There are however issues with the carafe that prevent this from being a fantastic coffeemaker - the carafe flicks water att you when you pull it out after brewing, the coffee splatters when pouring with the lid on, and the lid retains water after pouring/washing.”

It's cumbersome, occupies a lot of counter space, the bloom function is not optimal for all quantities of coffee, and the carafe pours terribly. I was really disappointed. I wanted to love it, but alas. I've returned the product.”
