“This machine produces excellent coffee. My only gripe is that the carafe pour spout tends to spill coffee down the side. But I really care about the taste. I would recommend this machine to other coffee lovers.”
“The perfect coffee machine, hands down. Beautifully made and minimal use of plastic. One important detail, though. If you’re looking to use a glass carafe like a Chemex with this, you can’t do it. The standard carafe and their glass carafe have magnets in the bases and the new version of the Ratio Six will only work with these carafes. Standard carafe uses a plastic filter bowl so if you want glass you need to buy theirs. No big deal, but should have been mentioned on the product page. Otherwise, perfection”
“The brewer looks good and feel solid.
The coffee brewed is rich in flavour. More chocolate/toffee than citrus, but could be me and/or the beans used so far (Arabica from Jayuya in Puerto Rico).
The process of brewing is quiet (and curiously fun to watch).

“I am a loyal dog who loves a great medium/dark bean. The ratio 6 has been my go to approach since I lucked into finding them in Portland. When my original Ratio 6 quit working, it made sense to buy a new one while I sent the original back for repairs. The new Ratio 6 continues to satisfy daily, and now I’ll have a backup when necessary. Great concept and design, wonderful quality control and wonderful people to work with. “Ratio is a rare company who not only listens to customer feedback, but the acts on it. I've had the Six for about 4 years now, it's my daily driver for the morning fix. I, like many of you, loved the look and loved the coffee but hated the lid and carafe. It leaked, it dripped and it was hard to clean. About a week ago I received an email from Ratio informing me that they had improved the carafe/lid design and they offered me the opportunity to purchase it at a discounted price with free shipping. Well, it arrived yesterday and all I can say is wow! Looks Great? Check! Still compatible with my machine and filter basket/heat shield? Check! Keeps Coffee Hot? Check - 2.5 hours and still reasonably hot! Drips? Nope!!!! Pours perfectly with no buttons to push. I'm very happy that now I have the perfect coffee maker. To all of you disappointed with the old carafe/lid design, buy the new one. You'll be glad you did!”
“Best drip coffee machine we've used. Once you figure out the optimal grind size with your grinder that you pair with it, it produces very sweet and clean cups of coffee with a push of a button. I love the aesthetics as well as the thermal stability and shower head dispersion system. Overall, great product”
