“This was the first time that I tried a detox juice cleanse and I have to say that I was not only impressed with the results, but it was easier than I expected. I bought the 3-day Skinny Cleanse and my goal going into this was not to lose weight necessarily, but to reset my gut and my digestive system. But the first day, I lost about 4 lbs and by the end I was down a total of 5 lbs. Yes, that's likely a good deal of water weight, but it's been almost a week since of returning to normal eating and I haven't gained it back. Also for those who are curious -- I was not tied to my bathroom the entire time. It didn't clean me out in the way that one my typically expect from a juice-only diet. It's also good that the program encourages eating fruits and vegetables. I think each day I ate one apple and one plum to get by and that helped a lot. Even still, by the end of the night I was feeling pretty full and I often couldn't finish number 6. Had I known that, I wouldn't have thawed it out because then I basically had to waste about half of it. But anyway, yes I would recommend doing this.
If it's your first time, I would start out with the 3-day plan to see how your body adjusts to it. For instance, I had really bad headaches by the end of the days I was doing it. Otherwise, I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't unbearably hungry throughout the three days.”
“I am not a dieter and had never done a juice cleanse before. My GF talked me into this in hopes to motivate each other to shed our covid weight. It was tough for me —only 710 calories and 12gs of protein a day for 3 days. I was starving most of the time but I lost 6 pounds. And the day after I was done, yes I ate half a pizza for lunch but I definitely didn’t feel as hungry after. I didn’t even eat dinner. Just had some fruit. So hoping my stomach has shrunk back to my pre-covid size. I will also say customer service is awesome. They are very responsive and great on answering questions and giving tips to help you succeed. For example when my juices hadn’t defrosted after an overnight in the refrigerator Amanda suggested putting them in front of my small bedroom fan — in 1 hr they were ready to go...just like she said. As for the taste I will say I’m not a big vegetable fan so it was a little tough. Sweet greens tasted the best. But my GF really liked the taste...she’s a vegetarian. I’d definitely recommend if your diet needs a jumpstart or reset.”
