“I can’t believe how unnecessarily sweet these are. It’s like they overloaded the apples to overcompensate for the more earthy tasting produce. Defeats the purpose of a juice cleanse to me. If people can’t handle the taste of veggies, then they shouldn’t do a juice cleanse. It seriously tastes like they used some Mott’s and added a chunk or leaf of the other produce. When doing a cleanse, I want it to taste and feel like I’m consuming something healthy. I see they have a lot of disclaimers about the sugar content so I assume I’m not the first to complain. I didn’t pay those any attention because I know some fruit has a high natural sugar content. But this was way too much of the sweeter ingredients. Stop trying to explain natural sugar to people and just adjust the ingredient ratio. I also don’t understand the freezing logistics. It’s only a 3-day cleanse your product should hold up for 3 days. You have to thaw them for 24 hours before drinking but it could take up to 48 hours depending on the refrigerator. Then you have to drink it within 24 hours. But then the instructions say if you don’t drink all of the juices in one day to save them. So if after 24 hours I can just keep them or refreeze them, what’s the point? I’ve never done a juice cleanse that couldn’t hold up at least a week. Just seems like unnecessary work. I’m really mad I wasted my money on this. I couldn’t even finish them because they were so sweet. I’ll stick to Pressed Juicery for my cleanses.”

Fruit juices help to balance the strong vegetable flavors (like beet!), making it easier for our customers to incorporate the benefits of cold-pressed vegetable juices into their diet. We always use a large proportion of vegetable juices in our cold-pressed juice. However, unpasteurized, cold-pressed apple juice is more than just a filler; it is also a good source of essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and more. For those looking for less sweet options, we do offer a lower sugar flavors as well as a Lower Sugar Cleanse.
Most companies add preservatives or go through a process called HPP, High-Pressure Pasteurization, which essentially cooks the juice and depletes most if not all of its nutritional value. It's best to consume our unpasteurized juices and smoothies within 24-48 hours from when they are fully thawed because the nutrients degrade the longer the juices are thawed (and the dense nutrient content is why juice is so beneficial, so you don't want to miss out on that!)
