I really do love my new Regency wood burning fireplace insert, but I have written to you and called you on the phone to say that my blower motor has an intermittent rattling noise in the low blower speed setting, but not in the high blower setting. I never heard back from you, so I called my installer. After a few phone calls he said he would just buy one and replace mine, instead of waiting for a warrantee replacement. This corona virus has now complicated that. I haven’t heard from him in over two months. I really hope you or he will honor the warrantee on my new Regency and replace the blower motor before next winter!

Hi Mark, Thank you for taking the time review our product. We’re glad to hear that you love your wood insert! However, we’re sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing with the blower and are more than happy to honor a warranty replacement on your blower. We will work with your local authorized Regency to file a warranty claim. Your local Regency dealer should be in contact with you shortly! Thank you for your patience, Regency Fireplace Products

I have to struggle with closing the door and latching the handle. It was supposed to be able to heat a way larger area than what it advertises. I wouldnt do this again.

We like the Regency Pro with the following exception. When we open the door to add wood we get a huge amount of smoke into the house. We have followed all instructions, it does not matter how careful we are we still get the smoke. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Hi Ian, Thank you for reaching out. The key here is to crack the door slightly ajar and hold for a few seconds for the air dynamics to settle. Then go ahead and load and shut the door. Ensure you are using well-seasoned fuel and when starting and operating the appliance, please follow our Pro-Tip Guide: https://assets.regency-fire.com/getdoc/353fcb65-2423-4749-87d2-110611aa2959/Pro-Series-User-Guide-Stove. Hope that helps! Warm Regards, Regency Fireplace Products

I am happy with my Ci2700. Warmed by the fire as I write this and reflect on how my family loves having a fire to gather round in the winter. It also keeps the main floor of our house much warmer, reducing the furnace cycles on cold days and eliminating them altogether on moderate winter days. The wide firebox and door make it easy to load. I like the ability to bypass the catalytic for starting and loading. Two little but nice to have improvements. The blower needs more than two speeds; A continuous adjustment would be great. The blower could be quieter. Two defects: There should be a collar bead or bushing between the slide and the front cover for the bypass handle. There should be feet on the front leveling bolts to keep them from sinking into the soft fire bricks in the bottom of the fireplace. It would be great if you had an engineer contact me through the dealer where I purchased the fireplace. Or they could just email me and arrange a phone call. Thank you. It could result in improved review.

We are, for the most part, happy with the unit. There are a few items which could be improved upon; they are: The fan thermostat has too high of a cut-in temperature. At least that seems to be the case. We usually have to turn it on manually. One day while checking whether it had closed, the temp was at 900+ degrees, and had just turned on. We did call for service about this and the tech said that there was no problem (He checked it with a lighter). The other problem (not a functional problem) is just that the fire box is kind of small and requires that logs be reduced to a fairly small size. Otherwise all is well, and we are satisfied with it's performance.

Works too well, heated the whole house and had to open windows, which ended our use of it because of a disagreement when the window was opened.
