“Looks good, but can't be compared with solid oak from another supplier. It has a softwood frame with oak veneered board. This would be fine, but the boarded shelves are very thin. The unit is also very narrow and is totally unstable when freestanding. The use of the supplied cable tie to secure it to the wall is a must, but the result seems stable enough.”

“Pros: This is a well-constructed bookcase with an attractive, contemporary design. This version has a shallow design making it ideal for tight spaces. Cons: The shelves aren't adjustable, so if you have large books you will need to look elsewhere. Also, the shallow depth means a narrow base, so you absolutely need to fix it to the wall. Unfortunately the fixing supplied is plastic and a bit flimsy looking. I attached mine with some additional brackets and it's now rock solid and looks great. Overall: this is a very good, well made bookcase and I'd recommend it.”
