SAMi® is a video-based sleep activity monitor for parents, caregivers and individuals that need to watch carefully for unusual movements at night. SAMi can detect and alarm on all types of movement, with settings that can be easily customized to your individual needs. “We have found the SAMi-3 Kit SAMi iPad to be high quality, easy to set-up and the pre-installed app if very logical and easy to navigate. The picture is excellent day and night! We have quickly gained added peace of mind from having SAMi keep an eye on our daughter at night. The only small negative is the range for the wireless signal but that's more on us than the device. Overall, very pleased and grateful to have this wonderful tool!”

“We are rural living and with that comes little access to internet. Specifically satellite internet that drops connection with some clouds in the sky. The Sami Kit seemingly advertises as plug in and ready to go. After receiving the kit, it really was just a “Plug in and go” we have had 0 issues with the connection. We have the Sami cam on one end of our home, the router at a half way point and the tablet on the other end of the house, away from the camera, on my nightstand. It has maintained perfect signal.”

“The Sami camera definitely gives me and my family a piece of mind through the night! My son was recently diagnosed with an epilepsy disorder called Dravet Syndrome at one year old. Most of his seizures are at night time when we all are asleep, missing a seizure can be fatal. Having this camera and knowing it’ll us when we need to be alerted is such a blessing. My husband and I have been able to actually get a full nights rest without worrying we will miss one, even though our guards are still obviously not let down, we do get a little ease with having this monitor. I highly recommend it. If you’re second guessing, just go ahead and do it! It’s more than just a Sami monitor, it’s a life saver. It is always easy to install, which is a plus. And the team behind the monitor is outstanding, and always an email away!”

“We received our SAMi-3 Kit in the first week of March 2023. To date, we have had two important issues: 1) The camera does not record more than 1000 videos although the 32 GByte memory is sufficient for that. We need an option of clearing the memory on the camera from the IPad supplied in the Kit. As the camera is mounted close to the ceiling, to meet our needs. 2) When reviewing the videos, the iPad is not able to play them until we reboot it. Also, when we reboot the iPad, the dark mode setting is lost. How do you propose we fix both of these issues? Do you have a software update available? We will not connect the system to our home network until we know for sure. Please let us know at the earliest in order to continue getting a worthwhile use of the SAMI-3 Kit.”

Hi Mukesh, Know we responded to you at the time, but adding that info here as a public reply as well in case others are interested. 1. You can delete recordings directly on your phone by following the instructions on our help page. Here is a link to an article on how to delete recordings without having to clear them on the camera itself: https://hipass.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/7852818126733-How-do-I-delete-individual-multiple-or-all-recordings-in-the-SAMi-app- If this article does not help you solve this, please reach back out so we can work with you to come to a solution! 2. Please make sure there are no updates available on the SAMi App and then force quit the app. If this does not solve your issue with viewing videos, please let us know. As for the dark mode, I would check to see if there is an update for the latest iOS for the iPad as we do not control the light/dark mode setting. Thank you for this feedback. “This is the best thing that has come into our lives.... now I can know what my son is doing at all times when he is at risk for seizures. Which is mostly mornings and during the night.... I am having to remind myself not to go check on him so frequently and learning to trust the alarm on the monitor. It has saved me energy and steps because before I was getting up several times a night to check on my son... Now I can just look at the monitor and check in on how he is doing.... it has given us a lot of relief knowing we have help with the monitor system. The quality of the picture is excellent and the ease of looking at the recordings is very easy and quick. We are very thankful for this monitoring system . It is making our life less stressful that's for sure !!!”

“The kit was easy to set up. After making a few adjustments to a few settings to personalize the device, it was ready to go. Now I have the comfort of knowing I can monitor my daughter when I'm awake or asleep. Thank you Sami.”
