“Towel is a lot whiter and less honey color than I expected. Not even close to the color in the picture. It is also thinner. But it is nice.
That said,All 3 of my 2021 orders were very late. This one too weeks to arrive. .
Same thing happened in 2020.
I can’t understand the glowing reviews by others. Everything I have ordered from SandCloud has either not come or taken forever(5-6 weeks) to arrive.”
“So I had originally ordered a towel that had a turtle with antlers as a Christmas gift. I was charged and a week or so later informed they were out of stock. I had the option of choosing another or refund. I chose this pattern. When I finally received my order (at this point it was so long since I had originally placed the order) it was a completely different one. I emailed them about it with pictures and informed them about my original order, and they resolved the issue. Love this towel! It’s even better in person. Still need to order that Christmas gift though. Definitely a good product. Will buy again.”
“This is my seconds sand cloud towel, I love the brands and what they stand for but this one is flimsy and cheaply made, it snags easily. I’d pay 10$ for this not 48$”
“I bought a Sand Cloud towel last year and I absolutely LOVE it. The quality is amazing - I use it as a blanket more than a towel because it's just so soft. So this summer I wanted to buy another one because I was so in love with the first. The new one just arrived and sadly it seems the quality has declined. I will say the new one is slightly bigger, but it's significantly thinner and not really soft. I know these can soften up as you use/wash them, so I threw it into the wash hoping to soften it up a little but no luck. I don't know if they've changed how the towels are made or if I just got unlucky with the one I purchased. I've included a picture to show the difference in thickness between the one I bought this year (on the left) vs the one I bought last year (on the right).”
“I’ll be honest I was ambivalent about these towels. I bought 2 to use as blankets, scarves, ponchos, towels, etc. for off-roading, camping, and beach trips. They do not disappoint. In 40° weather, they kept my legs warm while driving a doorless Jeep until the sun came out. In a sandstorm in Terlingua, they protected our heads and faces. They work as a seat pad to keep your legs from frying sun-heated leather car seats. As pillows. As yoga accessories. As a gorgeous scarf on a cold day. And finally, yes, I took my towel to the beach. As promised, the sand shook right out. These towels are a permanent staple in my adventures now.”
“Got this towel not too long ago and finally got to take it to the beach today! Super light weight compared to other towels and I LOVE that sand falls right off it. Definitely will be buying more towels!”
