“Towels are mostly good - fairly absorbent and dry quickly but they snag. Also while they are not caked with sand or anything, they are not sand-free either after a day at the beach. We only use ours at the beach.”

Natural cotton needs to be "broken in", which allows the fibers to bloom, be softer and reach maximum absorbency with better performance. Succeeding washes: Gentle cycle on your washing machine and dry at a low heat on the dryer. IMPORTANT: Avoid fabric softeners and dryer sheets as they gunk up the fibers making them less absorbent. Sometimes the measurements are adjusted to accommodate the specific design. Hence each towel is unique and can't be compared with the other.
