“UPDATE: Customer service contacted me and provided a satisfactory resolution. I can’t say for sure if I just got a defective towel but I can vouch for an excellent customer service team.
I really wanted this to be an exceptional hair towel. It works fine, just like all the hair towels I’ve had but the first time I washed it (cold, delicate and hang dry) there were tons of raveling and strings along the inner seam. The towel is way too expensive to have that kind of experience.”

“Just an update - Sand Cloud made amends for the fraying issue I had with the towels. Still didn't love the fit, but I had a fantastic customer service experience! Do not hesitate to give their products a try.
Towel gets moisture out of hair really well, which is great. However, the construction/fit of the towel is quite poor. Fraying seams after two washes. Border could use some elastic to help the overall fit and keep the towel on your head. Not much better than a rectangle-shape towel twisted in a turban, so not worth the buy for me.”

“The Sand Cloud Terra hair towel was recommended to me by a friend. I purchased it as a gift for someone else based on the recommendation. As a result, I do not have any personal experience with the actual use of the product. I did not unwrap the towel from its cardboard banded folded position however the part I could feel was soft.
I rated it 4 stars based on how highly recommended it was and because the process of online ordering and fulfillment was easy. I took off 1 star because I think the hair towel is pricey compared to the other very similar hair towels I viewed on Amazon (those got high customer ratings) and because I had to pay shipping costs (which I wouldn't have had to pay if I purchased a similar towel from Amazon).
I understand that Sand Cloud donates 10% to saving marine life so the added cost compared to purchasing a different Amazon product hopefully goes to that good cause!”
