“The Sand Cloud Terra hair towel was recommended to me by a friend. I purchased it as a gift for someone else based on the recommendation. As a result, I do not have any personal experience with the actual use of the product. I did not unwrap the towel from its cardboard banded folded position however the part I could feel was soft.
I rated it 4 stars based on how highly recommended it was and because the process of online ordering and fulfillment was easy. I took off 1 star because I think the hair towel is pricey compared to the other very similar hair towels I viewed on Amazon (those got high customer ratings) and because I had to pay shipping costs (which I wouldn't have had to pay if I purchased a similar towel from Amazon).
I understand that Sand Cloud donates 10% to saving marine life so the added cost compared to purchasing a different Amazon product hopefully goes to that good cause!”

“The towel came with a hole and it’s so thin I wonder if the replacement will actually hold up. I have another towel that got a hole after one wash and use and I can’t find any contact information on the website. Very disappointed overall with my first order. The cost does not equal quality. And I tried to upload pictures but the file size is too small. Not happy. Wondering if all the glowing reviews are actually real.”
“Used it a few times and the hole is so small it’s hard to wrap around the button. While I’m trying to get it through I’m pulling my hair at the nape of my neck so it isn’t very pleasant. It’s also very thin, therefore when I take it off it’s soaking wet. Wish it had more plushness to it.”
