For the price I paid I would have thought it would have been thicker.

I’ve had for 2 months washed 3 times. Cold and no dryer. There is a pull now in the towel fabric that scrunches it and it looks terrible. It’s a lot of money for it to not survive longer. I loved everything else about it though.

The design is beautiful! Definitely holds true to easily repelling sand! Soft and comfy to wear when needed.

Doesn’t dry quickly and needs air dried. After one wash it developed a massive snag and ruined the whole towel. Offered partial refund but really would’ve just liked my whole refund since it was a waste of time and money. Would not recommend.

When I first saw the cost of this... I was a little skeptical. $72 for a towel?? When I got it and used it on the beach... let me tell you ... my life changed. I used it in the tent for my daughter to nap on. I used it on the sand to lay on. We used it to dry off. It is BEYOND incredible. It is so soft and when I shook it out.. absolutely every piece of sand came off. I could not even believe it. Then I bought another XL ( whale shark) and then another largeish size ( not sure what the size is called but a little smaller than this one but not a standard towel size with the boho leatherback design) and I bought 2 of the smaller towel sized ones. THEN I started using it for after my shower and loved it so much I then bought a set of (4) of the bath towels. Needless to say, sandcloud now has most of my money but I have no regrets :) Also on the waiting list for a cute water bottle because at this point.. why not.

I used it on the beach for a picnic. The sand came right off, I put it back in my bag with my other belongings, and did not find sand all over my bag when I got home. It was great. I also use it for a light weight blanket around the house. The only thing is, I feel it is way over priced. Around 40-50$ I understand, but this one towel was really expensive and I can't see myself buying multiple because of the price.

We ordered an XL towel. Upon arrival, there were numerous thread pulls, one of which went pretty long down the towel. Otherwise, insanely soft towel and we used it once at the beach and it does exactly as advertised. Great towel. However, when we contacted customer service to reconcile the quality control issues with the towel itself (we emailed immediately upon receipt, with several high res pics of the towel and issues in question), Sand Cloud never got back to us. A few days later, I contacted again, nothing. A few days later, again. I contacted a total of 4x and still not a word despite rechecking and confirming their customer service email contact info. Beyond unacceptable. We were planning on getting our family 4-5 towels. Now that it's assured they don't stand by their products enough to even engage or enact their warranty/returnability, there is no way that is happening.

The instructions on the cardboard wrapper said machine wash delicate cycle which I did, my entire washing machine was covered in blue fuzzies so was the towel. I spent an hour picking them off my towel. I also bought one for a gift, I will not be doing that! I read the website after my rouined towel... it says to handwash the towels so which one is it? Waaaay over priced for what it is. I bought them for the donation towards marine life but I will not buy beach towels again. See photo, I picked most of the pills off it looks way better now
