“I toyed with the idea of Sand Cloud towels for months before I finally decided to order. My family recently relocated to a beach town (and have subsequently been to the beach more in the last month than the last 5 years combined!). The Sand Cloud towels are AMAZING. Let me count the ways:
1) they are SO light which makes a huge difference when you have to lug a bunch of snacks, drinks, and other kid related items to the beach with you.
2) they take up fully half of the space of a normal towel despite the XL towels being almost twice the surface area of a normal beach towel
3) they actually do repel sand! Pick up the towel shake it off. Done.
4) they dry SO fast. I was shocked when we got back from our first beach trip, the towel was already dry.
5) They aren’t scratchy. They really are soft and seem to be getting softer the more we use them.
I originally ordered 3 XL towels thinking we could use them as the blanket to sit on at the beach. I just finished ordering 2 more XL and 3 traditional size towels because I don’t ever want to use a “normal” beach towel again. I’m spoiled. Can’t wait until the blankets come back in stock because I’ll be investing in one of those as well.
Also, final thing, I love that Sand Cloud makes a point of giving back. Knowing 10% of my order goes to ocean conservation efforts makes me feel even better about giving this company my business.

“I really like the pattern and size but I don’t like the loosely woven fabric. I have another one that is tightly woven. This one will snag very easily. I was going to send it back but decided to keep it because I can’t leave the house right now.”
