Fantastic for larger riders! I purchased this scooter from the Brisbane city store with the intention of using it as my daily commute to work rather than catching ride shares and I have to say I cannot fault it at all. I’ve clocked 150km now and I commute from the city to Greenslopes each day. It’s a stunning ride along the veloway and river each morning. For anyone who’s ridden that route , you’ll know there are some slopes and climbs along the way. Now, I push the limits of 140kgs between myself and the daily gear I carry and this scooter is brilliant and is often holding itself at the maximum 30km speed with no issues. My only issue is I’ve experienced a slight loss of power for a few moments after about 30 minutes continuous riding. With that being said, this occurred along a hilly route so put it down to heating.. For me, I use about 40% battery on my 15km round trip commute and to be fair I’m pushing this scooter to its absolute limits in terms of weight limits/hill climbs and it’s not let me down.

Hey Mark, Thank you so much for your in depth review of our Inmotion S1. There's a reason as to why it's one of our best sellers! Most electric scooters tend to struggle up hills so it's nice to have a scooter for this price that can perform well and go the distance! If you have any issues with it don't hesitate for a second to pop into our Brisbane Scooter Hut store as we're more than happy to help! Regards, Ari and the Brisbane Team

I bought this scooter on a promise that it is great at climbing hills, and it definitely delivers! Smooth and responsive, plenty of power when I need it, and the acceleration is great. I was able to tackle several large hills in a row with minimal loss of speed. It did struggle going up hill from a dead stop, but still increased speed over the climb which was impressive. The dual suspension creates a very smooth ride, even on gravel or dirt. Overall a great scooter for my commute.

Good Afternoon Jake! We're so glad the Inmotion S1 is everything you were hoping for! It really is a great hill climber and is often compared to the Climber's hill climbing capabilities, I think it holds up well! We hope you enjoy your new ride! Regards, Scooter Hut

it’s a really good scooter and it rides very smoothly around town. Mum and dad spent more than expected buying me a beta e-scooter that I would be safe on

I'm 6'7 and this scooter is perfect, ride is very smooth with dual suspension. Great handle bar height. Before this I had a xiaomi pro and the range is far better. I used to be charging every 3 days now I charge every 2 weeks. Very happy purchase.

The InMotion S1 is a very enjoyable scooter to ride; its ability to climb hills is great with it being pretty much silent when going up hills. The speed of the S1 is great it is limited to 30km/ph, however with this it also means that it can have an increased range that being 95km. Another great feature of the S1 would be the suspension that is on both the front and rear creating a smooth ride when going on bumpy paths; which is very helpful especially in Brisbane. Overall the S1 is a great scooter for the use of a commute whether that be short or long distance.

This thing is amazing fun and great value for what you get. Though I haven’t gotten the stated range, I am heavier than the tested person and I only leave it in sport mode. Great fun, best commuter for sure with its range. I would recommend this to anyone.

Awesome scooter good power and very good hill climb the only thing that I don't like about it would be the screws on the bottom holding the bottom of the deck on as they stick out about half a cm so if you scrape them like I did they might snap off or bend and you won't be able to take it apart so a suggestion would be to countersink them
