“This is my first e-scooter, and it's an absolute joy to ride. I've been riding about 50/50 sealed roads and dirt, and it's performed really well on both. I haven't really tested the range, but based on the rides I've done and how much the battery ran down I suspect it's pretty much as advertised. For reference, I live in a very hilly area, and I'm no lightweight (~100kg).
The foldable bars are a nice feature, but (coming from an MTB background) the cockpit feels a bit cramped and narrow. I'm planning to swap out the stock bar setup with a MTB stem and wider bar. This will also free up a bit of room for accessories (lights, phone mount etc).
I didn't really feel safe with the two thin strips of grip tape, so today's project is replacing them with full coverage of the deck (a 33"x9" sheet is pretty cheap from your local skate shop).
Also, the catch and hook for folding it down works really well and is solid AF, but the hook interfers with my rear foot placement, soI'm thinking about removing it from the deck and using some kind of strap instead.
Sorry if this comes across as focusing on things I want to change. The stock scooter is fricken awesome--I just like to fiddle with stuff :-)

“So I've had this scooter for a little over a month and am very impressed with the overall features, performance and value. The staff at Scooter Hut's Melbourne store have been very helpful for me and had a great experience purchasing through these guys. I initially was looking at the Kaabo Mantis, but was persuaded to go for this model instead and am very glad I chose this scooter. It's a joy to ride on!
I use it daily for commuting to/from work and I've racked up roughly 500kms so far and it's going strong. I had to repair a small hole in the rear tyre tube, but the problem was surprisingly easy to address and has been fine since, plus was also a good learning experience as it's bound to happen sooner or later.
Anyway I highly recommend this scooter.”
