“We heat almost exclusively with wood but we don't have an attached garage, so storing firewood close to the house has been a challenge. We wanted a large capacity INDOOR storage unit. All the ones at hardware stores are too flimsy or small. This rack, however, has been perfect for our living room. It seems sturdy and was a good price.
The only problem is that we find the bars are too deep. You really have to have 14" logs, otherwise, they are in danger of falling out the sides and bottom. We ended up putting plywood across the bottom bars, and we very carefully stack the longer logs up the sides with shorter logs toward the center.
Design could be improved by adding a middle bar across the bottom and a middle bar up the ends.”

“I’ve had my Shelterlogic firewood racks for over 15 years. I use them every year for my winter firewood out in the yard. Anywhere from 1.5 - 2 cords of wood each year. I place the legs on leveled 14x14inch stones, I make sure the bars are straight and retighten- before each seasonal load. The few times I’ve had firewood topple was when I skipped those steps. I’ve disassembled and reassembled so many times, I've miss placed 6 of my 15inch support bars. Lesson - keep bolts, nuts and support bars together! Hoping I can have someone contact me so I can get my missing pieces. This is a product I use every year, it’s worth every penny!”

“Just received and easy to put together. Not sure how long this will last, we’ll see. I don’t plan to use the cover so I won’t comment on that. Package arrived practically open in a soaked cardboard box, thanks FedEx. Once together I notice one of the sides was not straight. Not sure if it was a flaw in production or bent during shipment. I’ll make due, but not satisfied, and would not recommend.”

“I bought this recently, and am annoyed that I need to put chicken wire on the bottom because it is too wide, not only for the 1/2 rick of firewood that I bought, but is also too wide for some bundled firewood I've bought at stores. Maybe both sources of my wood cut it too short, but if this rack were just 1 inch less wide, it would work. And, while assembly is fairly simple, make sure you get it perfectly square before tightening all the bolts.”
