“Item ordered to replace Chinese cover which was no match for Rocky Mountain winter winds. Item arrived on time, without damage, was unpacked and allowed to unfold. Cover has been in place through wind gust storms 50MPH+ and has not been dislodged. Cover is sized large enough to accomdate typical fire box lenght logs and is easy to mount onto typical log rack. Suggested upgrade would be to install grommet holes on both sides and at both ends (total of four grommets) where short bungee cords could be routed under log rack frame in order to prevent cover from lifting and traveling away in high winds. Rocky Mountain winter will be the true test to evaluate how the zippers operate at sub zero temptures and snow cloging zipper teeth.”

“Covers are sturdy and easy to use, however, the seam across the top is not sealed so rain water will drip down the entire front soaking the logs. I purchased some Gorilla waterproof patch & seal which solved the issue. I have 8 8’ covers and 2 4’ covers”

“Bought 6 covers which are simple to zip. Top seam is not waterproof! After an application of seam seal spray the logs stayed dry. All seams should be treated before they are shipped.”
