From what I was told the deference was that the gray had only 1 door which was good for me as the back is only 20" away from my fence. It went up easily with the help of one friend. Took about 90 minutes. Went in place easy and looks great .his one seems to be in place and better than the one I bought about 22 months ago.”

“We received our replacement cover in a very timely manner. Installation went great and we are very happy, looks great! We had our original cover for 5 years and we are hoping for another 5 with this one.

“Received the third replacement cover I've purchased over the last several years. I had issues with seam separating on one of the past purchases, but ShelterLogic was good at replacing under warranty. Unfortunately the replacement also had a similar issue, but I mitigated by taping, rather than hastle of replacing again. This is at a seasonal campground, at 10,000 feet elevation, so weather is harsh through the winter and I expect only a couple years' life out of the thin, 7.5 oz option. Just received the third one and it appears they have addressed the seam sealing issue as it there is adhesive visible just outside the seam. We'll see. Unfortunately, this one has one thin spot (light shines through) where I expect the cover will tear within a year. I will tape rather than return since I can't afford the additional down time, and I will proactively reinforce the stress points with tape to extend the life of the cover. I still give 3 stars as the product is priced well for what you get. There are sturdier options, but there is a longer turnaround on the heavier covers, which I cannot wait for given this is for an active business. I have a second, larger ShelterLogic tent structure which I did purchase the thickest cover for. It has held up for six years so far. You get what you pay for.”

Please know that fabric life is affected by the application, location, and the physical elements the shelter is exposed to. If you live in an area that gets more sun exposure than most of the cover, along with exposure to other elements such as strong winds and snow (if applicable), it can also affect longevity. We do offer replacement cover kits in Standard, Heavy-Duty, and Ultra-Duty material. The heavier materials have a longer warranty and life expectancies, which might better suit your needs.

“This is my second replacement cover. Last one was the grey colored one and only lasted 2 years. Shipping was really quick which is always appreciated. However I only noticed after I had installed the front door panel that I was sent another door panel for the back instead of the usual solid panel (see picture). However I kept the solid panel from the old replacement cover and installed the new door panel over it so hopefully this will be ok. I also noticed a few small pin size holes I could see sunlight through so I installed clear TUC tape immediately as a precaution. As stated at the start of this review, this is my second replacement cover (3 covers in total when counting the original panel) and they all lasted a maximum of 2 years. Hopefully this one will last a little longer.”

Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your experience didn’t match your expectations. Please note that in most cases, these aren’t holes. The dying process of the fabric can cause variations in color and does not impact the durability of your cover. To be certain, you can do a water test on a sunny day. Use a garden hose to gently spray the outside of the cover. Then check inside the tent for any leaks.

“I'm looking forward to replacing the cover once it warms up a bit. My original cover lasted 4 years but I think it was put on too tight resulting in the rips on the corners and eventually at the pitch. Will put the new cover on with a little less tension.”
