“I just purchased a 4x10 shed and am considering the concrete anchor kit AK100. Why do the instructions say to NOT fasten the floor frame to the base (concrete slab) until the enire building is complete? This is in direct contrast to what another reviewer mentioned indicating he had issues keeping the frame square until he added the anchor kit. Does the kit get it the way if used prior to the building assembly??”

The instructions suggest waiting until the entire building is complete to ensure that the structure remains square and stable during assembly. While some customers have found success in securing the floor frame earlier, it can sometimes make adjustments more challenging. Our anchor kit is designed to provide excellent stability and support once your shed is fully assembled, avoiding any interference during the initial construction.

“I would like to rate this product along with the shed. However the shipping company has not delievered the anchor set. So I have a partial built shed. It's been almost 2 weeks since the shed was delivered.”

“Kit is great and includes masonry bit for anchoring to a concrete pad. I regret not ordering sooner, with the shed 90% complete and despite my best efforts to keep it square, it tended to bow in on the sides and make the corners narrow. That made attaching the corner brackets difficult. I imagine adding them right from the beginning is the way to go.”

“These are great concrete anchors but are Not meant for the Arrow Carport, 10 ft. x 15 ft. x 7 ft. with 2" x 2" tube. ShelterLogic should NOT list them as an accessory for the carports with tube as the base and frame of the carport.”

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that while our concrete anchors are indeed of excellent quality and highly effective, they are not specifically intended for use with the Arrow sheds only, not for our Arrow Carports. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
If you are anchoring the carport on concrete/slab mounting, we recommend at least 3/8-inch diameter x 5-inch-long concrete expansion lag with a minimum 2-inch embedment.
