“The rating is no reflection on the technician, he was great. The issue is an inventory problem. The service ticket called for a part replacement. He arrived checked out the hot water heater rod and determined that it needed to be replaced. Went to the shop to obtain one, whoops not available. Need to order one from the supply house, whoops they do not have one either, now have to wait. Inspecting the rod is necessary to maintain the life time warranty, therefore a captive audience, not sure why the cost increased by 30%.”
“The technician who performed my furnace and HVAC maintenance was excellent and thorough. Can't remember if his name was Kevin or Keith, but he was so friendly and did a great job.
There was major confusion getting a tech here as scheduled (got phone calls from TWO different techs who both wanted to come in the morning and I had specifically requested service between 11 AM and 3 PM. First tech, Malik, was at my door at 9:30 AM. I didn't answer as I was in bed and he then called and told me he was at the door. I was still in bed and told him he wasn't to be there til after 11 AM. He said he'd return. Then, about 9:50 I got another call from yet another tech (Kevin or Keith) stating he was on his way. REALLY??? Long story short the second guy, who ultimately did the work, called dispatch and told them to cancel Malik. Kevin/Keith stated my request for after 11 AM was on his information, but when he mentioned it to the dispatcher she said well by the time you get there it will be close to 11....he got here at 10:15. I feel something needs to be mentioned to the dispatcher that, in my opinion, this was a very inappropriate response for a customer who didn't want service until after 11 am. Dispatcher or whoever totally screwed up this service call.
I do want to reiterate that Kevin/Keith did a fabulous job, was very sympathetic about the mess up and got the job done! FIVE stars for technician and ZERO stars for dispatch.”
