“The service tech that showed up to fix my emergency of having no heat was great however the customer service leading up to it was not. I called around noon to report I had no heat and they said they’d send someone out that day. After hearing nothing for 2 hours and still waiting in my 48 degree house, I called back at 2pm to see if I could get any eta for service and I was told that the tech would be arriving in the next hour and a half, if not earlier. After an hour and a half went by I called back and was told the tech was still working on another job and then had a 45 minute drive to my house and I should haven never been told a time by the prior service representative. The misinformation is very frustrating. The even more frustrating part is that I just paid Shipley $275 a month earlier to have my furnace serviced and I was told everything was fine even though the tech at that time acknowledged that it was rattling more after the service than it was when he arrived. Then a month after being told my furnace was fine, I’m now stuck with another $332.95 to pay Shipley. If Shipley stood behind their work, this would have been covered considering it was just serviced the month before.”
