“What can I say? The socks are unique, distinctive, and beautiful. They are unlike anything else that you will find on the market. However, I did find it a little disconcerting that the socks go over the calf. Very different from your usual socks. You will definitely not show any leg with these socks!”

“I've been an over-the-calf guy with wool socks for years. I got a trio of Fort Belvedere Cotton Shadow Striped Socks for my first set of nice cotton over-the-calf socks and I couldn't have made a better choice. They breathe very well, because they are quality over-the-calf socks they stay up and never shift, and they look great. I typically tend towards more restrained clothing and it's difficult to find socks that hit that perfect medium between subtle but still interesting. These hit it right on the mark. The way the colors blend with all the shadow striped socks is a marvelous effect to behold. I would definitely recommend these socks. This pair gets the second most wears out of my trio. It has no peer when it comes to matching with my olive trousers. It looks great with every pair of dress shoes I own.”

“$40 a pair isn't the most affordable option in the market, but you're paying for the quality, hand wash those socks with non-harsh detergents and they'll last you a while. Dress to impress yourselves, folks.”

“The quality is very good and they are comfortable on the foot end, but only go up about 3/5 the way to the top of my calf, at which point they pinch a bit. They didn't fall down, though, and looked fantastic with the pant leg & shoes.”
