“I have always been looking around for socks that are 1) over-the-calf, and that 2) stay up all day. These socks pair well with green trousers or corduroys and do not slip down even after a full day's worth of walking. An excellent purchase, and one that I would make again.”

“I now own 9 pair of Fort Belvedere socks. They are all excellent! I am small, 5'3" tall with small feet, it is very difficult to find socks that fit. The small size of these Fort Belvedere socks fit me perfectly and they are far and away the nicest socks I have ever owned. They are very thin, but strangely warm. No, they are not warm like wool socks, but for thin dress socks I'm surprised that my feet don't feel cold when I am walking around outside - I live in upstate NY. I think the fact that they stay up and keep my lower legs covered makes my feet feel warm too. I get a lot of compliments on these socks; socks are not something I am used to people even noticing let alone complimenting me about.”

“These socks are unique a do stand out in a good way. They feel good and they smell like the cedar from my shoe trees when I take them off instead of obsorbing foot odor. They do run large for me which give me more fabric than I want at the toe.”

“I thought these were a very nice pair of socks, although maybe a little more green than brown. Regardless, it goes well with my British tan pants. The quality is top notch, in my opinion, and highly recommended.”

“Great socks. Great price. Great service. All of the things that I have found with Sven. The socks fit so well and hold up all day; and the design is fantastic. Actually, I was visiting my son in the USA and I had them shipped over to him in PA, because shipping them to Australia was just too expensive. I would order more if the shipping costs were lower....hope that helps. Can't wait to order more items. Cheers, John”
