“The are the first OTC socks that stay secure over the calf in place yet are light and feel like you do not have socks on. These socks are my first choice if appropriate for the outfit. The best comment I have received is from myself: “They feel great!”.”

“Before I discovered these dress socks from Fort Belvedere, I had to search for dress over the calf socks. Even when I could find good ones, they were usually solid black, gray or brown so not always the best match especially with blue or brown pants. Boring! I like the variety of colors available in this line of socks. It is easy to find good combinations for all of my pants. These stand out from the crowd without being silly or loud. These socks strike just the right tone - bold without being too forward. Now, I get complements from my tailor and my wife on my sock and pants combinations - this is not easy as they are both very particular about color combinations! I can say they function as advertised. In fact these socks do stay up all day and you don’t need to constantly pull them up. I have sent these through a couple of wash cycles (cold water, line dry) and though they did draw-up a bit the fit and performance are maintained so far. A note about the size: These socks come in four different sizes. Even though they look really large when you first see them, the on-line size chart is a good guide. Just find the size corresponding to your shoe size. The fit is true to size at least in my experience. Even though I was cautious about the $40 per pair price, I think the socks are a good value as they are comfortable, surprisingly warm, and perform well. All this and they look really sharp.”

“I brought the socks because of the youtube videos explaining the manufacturing process of socks (among other things) and why some features cost more than they do, why they might be worth it, and how to tell that they are there. There's no where else I've seen which gives such great inside information and detailed explanations. I hope Fort Belvedere will keep growing”

“These socks are lingerie for your feet. They are incredible. My biggest problem has been that I've never been able to find a vertical striped sock with alternating colors. Now that I've found Fort Belvedere's socks, my worries are assuaged, and I have another stylistic nuance to incorporate into my outfits. The gradient of these socks are beautiful, and have garnered lots of attention and many compliments. I'm positive they'll do the same for anyone.”

“I have been wearing over the calf socks for a while. After watching quite a few Gentleman's Gazette videos on the subject, I finally decided to buy a pair of these Green and mid-Brown shadow striped socks. When they first arrived, I noticed just how soft, smooth, and colourful the socks were. Moreover, I was a bit stunned as to how long the socks were. Before I had tried them on, I thought that perhaps these socks were too long. When I did try them on, I noticed that they were a perfect fit in length and circumference. Moreover, my toes' movement were completely unhindered. I am the type of person who immediately wants to take-off my socks when I am in the comfort of my home. Not these. I didn't mind keeping them on. The cotton was very breathable. These are quite possibly the most comfortable and colourful pair of socks I have owned. I highly recommend them! During the Summer months, I combine these with natural linen trousers with all shades of brown shoes. During the winter, I wear mostly brown and blue corduroys, so this colour is very versatile in that regard.”
