“I love the socks but... While the socks have amazing color and are definitely of high quality and comfortable, if you are like me in terms of feet size and like snug fit, you will not like these socks. If you have big feet, you probably will not have this problem. I am an asian man with 7D US size and narrow feet and it has always been a challenge finding socks and shoes that fit me in the US. Lots of brands I've tried and have been disappointed by them. Initially, I was delighted to find that FB supply socks that are size 39-40 and I was cautiously optimistic.. Unfortunately, this turned out to be another disappointment (and yes, I tried them on after a wash and shrink). I've taken pictures of me wearing the FB socks and another set of pictures of me wearing a pair from Falke (size 39-40) as a reference. The Falke ones have much better fit around the toe and heel areas while the FB socks just look loose. This is worsened by the fact that these socks are not elastic. Companies seem to forget that when you do small size socks, you should not only reduce the length of the socks but also reduce the width of the toe and the heel areas. It's similar to what shoe companies do with smaller size shoes. By simply reducing the length of a pair of shoes, the pair would just end up looking short and chunky. I understand that my experience is particular in my situation since I have narrow feet. But I would bet that most people who have shorter feet probably have smaller toes and heels. While I understand companies have to be cost conscientious, I'd still expect that socks that labeled size 39-40 at this price point should have a better fit. Overall, this was somewhat expected. I will keep them for sure if just for how good they look. But I will not repurchase.”

Thank you for this very detailed review, Kevin and we'll be sure to take note of your suggestions. We couldn't agree more that each person's feet and preferred fit are unique, so I'm sorry that our socks did not work well for you. How people like their socks is personal. Our socks will all shrink once you wash them. I know you did that once, but in your case, I would suggest, you put the socks in the dryer, that will definitely shrink them further. Let us know how you like the fit then, and if you don't we are happy to refund your money.

“This is my second time purchasing these socks. The first batch lasted for years. This time I bought 13 pair. They are absolutely beautiful, comfortable and they stay put. The colors are rich and don't fade over time. When you consider how long-wearing these socks are, they are a good value. I highly recommend these socks.”

“I am tall (6ft 4) and have trouble finding adequate over the calf socks. The Ft Belvedere socks are the right size, have quality materials and construction, and are stylish. The socks are a nice accent to my otherwise rather conservative business attire.”

“I’ve been watching the GG channel for a couple years and I finally decided to purchase a few pairs of socks to add to my wardrobe. I have been hesitant because of the price, but they are truly worth every penny. The customer service is top notch. I received notification when it was shipped, when it arrived, and everything in between. They also sent emails with video links of how to take care and use my purchase. When they arrived I was very impressed by the exemplary packaging. Very upscale and professional. The socks themselves are obviously extremely high quality.
