“I purchased these, along with maybe 6 or other pairs in different colors, and within a few months they all developed holes. Customer service sent me replacements, and those wore out even fast, some after only 2 or 3 wears. I'd blame my feet or my washer or something, except I've never had this problem with much cheaper socks...indeed, a number of cheap cotton socks I bought after the first batch of failures are still going strong.”

“A good sock that blends well with what you wear, but has just enough dash of flair from the stripes to not be boring but rather elegant instead. True to size, comfortable, and long enough and the legs to provide full coverage below the knee.”

“I started wearing over the calf socks about five years ago due to having large calves due to swimming and generally stuck too the mundane colors of black and brown. Until I got some shadow striped socks when I was in New Orleans and got hooked on them. Now I have been a fan of the Gentleman’s Gazette for years but never bought any socks until last week. I wanted more colorful, classic, and stylish socks for my work. So I got the grey and burgundy and another pair. Wore them the first day I had them and loved them. They are very comfortable and stay up all day long. I must say I did get a few compliments on them as well. It really rang true what a friend of mine told me, life is too short to wear boring socks. These socks live up to that belief with their color and versatility. I will be getting more. Thank you once again to Raphael for these great socks.”
