“I had a dinner jacket made using Barathea silk instead of satin for its subtle look. Trying to find a proper bow tie made of the same material turned out to be more difficult than I thought it would. First,I asked the tailor to male one but the shape was horrid. Then I went to Jermyn Street in London and I tried one from Drakes but they only had ones that were adjustable. I ordered one from Charvet in Paris, which was fine but this one from Fort Belvedere is simply perfect. The silk is heavy, the work!amship pristine and the bow tie shape just right and exactly my size. I will buy all my bow ties gfrom Fort Belvedere going forward. You should definitely were it untied at the end of the evening especially with a starched collar and the ladies will adore it.”
