“i ordered the Remembrance poppy from Fort Belvedere as i wanted something to keep and not discard at the end of the Remembrance day season. This is in part because I participate and plan various Remembrance day and memorial activities during the year. the other part of my purchasing intentions is the pollution the regular poppies case after the remembrance day season. for about 2 months after and during November you see poppies scattered about on the sidewalks and streets, and I do not endorse throw away remembrance or littering. over all a great product which arrived neatly Packed in a lovely dark Green Fort Belvedere box held in place by a cotton/poly Packing material. and although the packing material did a great job of holding the Poppy in place the material does snag a fair bit which is a bit unnerving when trying to pull it out. fantastic product a highly realistic 10/10 would buy for other members of my family. “I was planning a trip to London and Edinburgh and knew it would coincide with Remembrance Day. Purchased the Ft Belvedere Poppy and wore it throughout my trip. A number of people commented on it and I was able to explain how I served in the US Army and my great uncle served with the Royal Fusiliers during WWI. It was a great conversation starter and quite frankly much nicer than the plastic poppies worn by most although I must admire the Brits for continuing this great tradition.”

While it does look as authentic as it can be, it will definitely last longer than a real flower and can even be something you can pass down to your children. “I selected this boutonniere as a substitute for the regular poppies worn in the lead up to Remembrance Day, which I am constantly losing. I still get to be respectful of our veterans but with a better quality product to wear at the cenotaph ceremonies(the veterans still get my donation). It looks great with all of my jackets and I have received many complements already.”
