Recently, I received my three boutonnieres, including the Remembrance Day poppy. They look great, especially the poppy. The stem fits beautifully into the small loops a tailor added to my suits and blazers. The red poppy stands out particularly well against the fabric of my navy blazers and blue and gray suits.

After having many jackets made with a flower loop, I finally decided I needed to purchase some boutonnieres to utilize the flower loops. After looking online, I found the Fort Belvedere products and immediately knew I had to acquire some. The team helped me out when I had difficulty with ordering, my address was causing errors, but the boutonnieres arrived quickly once the issue was sorted out. When they arrived, the boutonnieres looked amazing and I have to guard them from my wife who tries and takes them. I have received quite a few positive remarks about them and I hope to acquire more in the future.

The Red Poppy Boutonniere is beautiful, elegant, and authentic to the real flower. I enjoy wearing this boutonniere on Memorial Day as well as days when I want to personally commemorate the fallen who I served with years ago. This boutonniere suits well with either a gray or navy suit.

I'd been looking for a good Remembrance Poppy for a while to use on Armistice/Veteran's Day (11/11), and had given up on pre-made products. I've toyed with the idea of using knotwork to create a small lapel flower for the occasion, but couldn't get the knot to work just right. I found Gentleman's Gazette through an unrelated search, and then looked at the shop, saw the lapel flowers, and ordered three, including the Red Poppy. I haven't worn it yet, but overall it is nice - it seems obviously artificial, but it's hard to really match the look of a real flower - and will work perfectly for the eleventh of November. I wish that the one I was sent wasn't quite as folded as it is (one petal essentially folds over onto itself), but I could probably fix that with a little gentle heat. Overall, I'm fairly well impressed. Not a true replacement for a real flower, but worlds better than the other lapel flowers you typically see.
