This auger comes with a 2-inch hex output shaft, but if your machine requires a different size or style, adapters are available for round or larger hex options here. For operators looking to get more out of their auger, the Flip Mount upgrade adds extra versatility. This option allows the auger to switch between standard and inverted drilling in minutes, with a 180-degree rotation for added flexibility in tight spaces or angled applications. It also includes a locking collar to keep the auger steady when not in use, preventing swinging during transport and positioning. “...difficult to tighten hydro hoses to gearbox due to angle, otherwise plenty of power when used with my bobcat s220.....angle of mount a bit low for transporting and under way...just be careful and ride high with longish bits over 3 ft...hoses need a bungee attached to keep from getting smashed when tilted inward...or stretched when tilted waay out....even with the spring mounted standoff.”

“I did not receive my complete order and I have tried to follow up with my sales representative, Austin, on multiple occasions by phone and even by email. Suddenly now that they have got my money they don't wish to speak to me. I was even thinking about placing another order because the equipment they sold me is not usuable without an adapter, but they now won't return my calls or emails. Poor customer service!”

“Have been using this with the 10" Planer bit. Using it on old stumps and fresh cut stumps. It has been working well so far. Some of the large hard oak stump managed to stop the auger. Just reposition and drove it in again. The Auger and Planer did have issues with the fresh cut oak stumps or would you say wet wood. Steam pressure built up in the tip of the bit and it you NOT drive down anymore. Had to reverse and pull up and as you did a steam puff would come out. Definitely had to work from the outside to the center of the stump when it is wet. This was fresh cut oak stump that was quite large. Did the job in a few hours. The combination is quite impressive.”
