Description
The Eterra E40 Mini Backhoe 48" for mini skid steers is ideal for digging small ditches, trenches, and much more. This Backhoe Attachment has been designed tough, allowing operators the ability to fully apply the power and leverage of their machine. Use this Mini Backhoe to dig, trench and clear in tight spaces where larger machines lack access. The design of the Mini Skid Steer Backhoe also allows for seamless transitions between functions. Rapidly switch from a backhoe to a grapple rake, extension boom, ripper, or an array of bucket sizes.
Manufactured specifically for Mini Skid Steer Loaders, this Backhoe has all of the features you need without the extras that add weight and excess costs. This is a fixed boom backhoe that does not rotate side to side. You use your skid steer action to dump to the side. The Mini Skid Steer Backhoe has a 54" Inch digging reach. Built to endure, this attachment is constructed from robust A572 Grade 50 steel and features a reinforced 4" x 4" square boom. To ensure long-lasting performance, the cylinder incorporates a relief port that safeguards against overstressing and bending the cylinder rod.

“I have an Eterra backhoe attachment for my Ditch Witch SK755 that I got from Skid Steer Solutions back in 2013. It's been a great attachment that I use almost daily for clearing work for trail construction. During my last job, which entailed removing 500 8"x 8" timbers from a trail before reconstructing it, the hydraulic ram lost its ability to pick anything up. I called Skid Steer Solutions and in short order they had me back up and running. It's this kind of dedication to contractors that keeps me coming back to them. Most of us don't keep spare parts or aren't in a position where we can wait weeks for someone to get back to us. Well done Skid Steer Solutions, Well done!”

“I Purchased the E-40 for a Boxer 700. Received in a very timely fashion well packaged appear to be well-built. A few flaws that i noticed immediately was the hydraulic ram is a little slower then I anticipated. Second was the pin that held the thumb in place was not square. Had to drive the pin out and put a expansion reamer to it to square the hole up. Overall itâ€™s an accessory attachment not a true backhoe â€¦ It does the job it was designed to do.”

“Love my new E40 backhoe on my ASVRC30 track steer. This is designed well and the bucket curl power geometry works exceptional. This is now my favorite attachment. Check out how easy and clean to dig tree planting holes. The soil is sod / clay. The claw is awesome for my wood piles. Great job guys!!”

“This is mounted on our 1050 Ditch Witch. We dug 285â€™ 2â€™ wide x 18â€ deep in around 2 hours with the 16â€ bucket. Worked perfect! The only problem weâ€™ve had is with the thumb and grapple. The pin holding the thumb on has been a bit of a chore to remove. Also used the bucket once to grab a tree trunk and drag it out. We bent the center of the bucket and broke a tooth. Again love it, just may have a cylinder thatâ€™s a little overpowering. Now if your wondering why we didnâ€™t put on the grapple? Well if you have employees you already know.
