“The SlumberPod is great once set up, but it is incredibly challenging to set up. Although it only has 2 rods, which theoretically should make it simple, the individual sections of each rod pull apart easily and get lost inside the blue zones where you thread them, and the entire setup depends on tension between the two rods, which means you can’t really get one rod fully set up and then move to the second. It also means you need an incredibly large space to have the best chance of getting it together. I curse it every time I set it up, and then am relieved to have it once it’s set up. Still love it, just wish the design was a bit better. As an aside, it would also be great to have an opening that doesn’t require using a zipper, so that you could reach your hand in to comfort the baby without needing to let in a ton of light.”
“I bought this because I roomshare with my baby but am working from home temporarily from our bedroom as well. We have the pack n play setup with the slumberpod downstairs so that he can get a good nap without being disturbed by my afternoon meetings. It took a few days to get him used to it but we’ve been using it once a day for consistency and it’s been working great. I love that there’s a pocket for the baby monitor.”
