SlumberPod_Test Black with Gray Accents Reviews

We were lucky enough to catch one of these in the July restock. We had previously taken our then-eight-month-old daughter on a long trip and sleep had been a catastrophe - refusing to nap, waking up every hour or so at night, and having a hard time going back to sleep after night wakings. At home, she will sleep from 7p to around 7:15a with one wake-up to nurse around 6a. We had a two-week trip planned across several states and many housing situations, and were desperate. What I can say, after the trip, is that she napped beautifully for the entire trip, and her night sleep was substantively better, though still nothing like home. At home she puts herself to sleep every night, and whereas she could not manage that essentially at all on the pre-slumberpod trip, she managed it more than half the time on the two-week slumberpod trip. She still had multiple night wakings with the slumberpod, but slept in 3+ hour chunks most nights and had a few nights where she slept right through the night like at home. So while the slumberpod certainly didn't magically make her sleep like she was at home, it did make the trip manageable and enjoyable, whereas the pre-slumberpod trip was impossible. In retrospect, being quite helpful but not magic makes a lot of sense. After all, when she does wake up at night she came out of the slumberpod to nurse but was then in an unfamiliar stimulating environment. Maybe SlumberPod's next product can be nested slumberpods so that when baby comes out of her sleep slumberpod to nurse she finds herself in a still-pitch-black larger nursing slumberpod that contains the sleeping one. Additionally, lots of new places and new people is super activating, and a bit more neediness at night is sensible. TL;DR: depending on the constitution of your infant, the slumberpod may not make you sleep like you're at home, but it likely will get you *enough* sleep to be able to actually enjoy your vacation. 4.5/5 stars.

Slumberpod is amazing! Worth every penny. Our child sleeps amazing during naps and overnight while we travel with the Slumberpod. Its so nice to be able to turn on lights and not wake her.

I was sceptic how our little one would like the darkness as her room is never completely dark, but she adjusted without any issues. Everyone is sleeping better while room sharing and a rested family equals more fun trips! 10/10 would recommend!

We love the Slumberpod! We borrowed one twice from a friend before purchasing our own but were hooked after the first time. Easy to set up, fits in all kinds of spaces, and - most importantly - helps everyone sleep better (baby because it's dark, us because baby is sleeping well). We've used it in hotels, at grandparent's houses, and even in our own home mid-move. Highly recommend!!

My baby sleeps amazingly in this thing! It has been an absolute game changer on vacations. It also works well with our baby monitor—which was something I was worried about (we have a Nanit). Best sleep aid on the market!!!

I was so nervous taking our almost 12 month old on vacation with us. She’s a fantastic sleeper at home, but with her normal routine of black out curtains and sound machine being disrupted plus having to room share (thanks hurricane Elsa!), I was anxious. SlumberPod was the perfect solution! It fit perfectly over a pack and play, we were able to turn the lights on after she was zipped up while we room shared in a hotel and she slept like a log. We will be bringing her “pod” for every overnight trip for as long as we possibly can. It fit great into our suitcase and wasn’t heavy at all.
