“My daughter was born in October and we live in rural Alaska. She slept best in darkness, or very dim lighting. Once March hit our days we’re getting brighter and longer and she was not sleeping despite two black out curtains and a towel over her bedroom window. I tried the slumber pod after starting her on a sleep program and she didn’t mind the change at all! We even went camping and the cabin was so bright and she was able to wind down at her usual bedtime while my husband and I took turns kayaking in the lake. Ahhhhhh! Love this invention!”
“I pre-ordered this item during the Kickstarter campaign and have been able to test it out a number of times to really get a good guage for it and give honest feedback. The tent truly works so well as a black out tent. It has helped with my toddler to nap and sleep so well when we are not in her usual bedroom where we have blackout curtains in the bedroom. She sleeps so well and traveling doesn't disrupt her normal sleep schedule. But I did find one flaw, a small flaw, a flaw that can help make this tent even better, which is the camera pouch. So we use a camera to monitor our child when she naps when we are not in the room with her (in a separate room) and the clear plastic causes a lot of glare. The camera uses infared light to use in night vision mode and the clear plastic doesn't allow a clear picture video. So I thought of a different design that helped give a better view with the camera and also allows breathability for the camera as well. I recommend placing a mesh net in the top middle of the tent where you can get a bird's eye view of your child. The placement of the original camera pouch gives a poor view and I can't seem to get the right angle to actually see my baby sleeping. I think the placement of the camera pouch is key especially those parents that use video monitor to watch their babies without disturbing them to peek inside. Granted I know a video monitor would not be necessary for most parents that are having to share the same bedroom with their child when they can hear them right there. This is just something that may help with some improvements and give parents even more peace of mind when one is able to see their baby sleep. I hope this helps to make some improvements on it but otherwise this is a must have product for parents with kids that stick to a sleep schedule and want their kids to sleep through the night while traveling. I would still definitely recommend this product to everyone!”
