DC motor runs so quiet all you can hear is the sound of a cool breeze blowing. The link to Alex control is great too. No longer have to get out of my easy chair or search thru a pile of remotes.

Bought this for new office, it helps for refresh the air during this period. For me, I think it's easy install, but you need to follow the instructions carefully, especially the led light. Other than that I think is perfect fan. BTW, I very like the cell phone app to control the fan, it's very convenient! This is a plus for the fan.

They are fantastic ( no pun intended) ! They work very quietly and smoothly. They move the air very and give plenty of light when you need it or soft light too.

I'm just gonna bullet point pros/cons to avoid extra words.Pros:1. Good looking fan. Pretty low profile height-wise.2. Silent fan motor at all speeds but see Cons below.3. Very good airflow, really like having 10 speeds even though I mostly use 1-3, but having 10 allows for speed granularity.4. LEDs are very bright for a typical living room. You can control the 2 color temp intensities individually via app/Alexa. Remote seems to allow 10% brightness steps. Control through Alexa, etc allows 1% steps from 1%-100%. Light mostly shines downward. If I had to guess, most intensity projects at a 90 degree pattern. Won't wash the entire room evenly like some fixtures (maybe con?)5. The nature/breeze mode is kinda cool. Varies the fan speed semi-randomly to simulate wind. Good for naps.Neutral/Cons: (these are VERY subjective and might not bother most people.)1. No local network control, meaning no integration with existing Smart Home setups outside of Alexa/Google. You MUST use Alexa/Google for all control aside from the Remote or their Carro Home app. This means the fan needs internet (not just local network) access.2. Install instructions not super detailed. Anyone with basic problem solving can install it easily, but a novice could have issues.3. Sound emitted from the unit comes from an off the shelf PC Buzzer (google image that) and is very loud. They tried to solve this by sticking a screw in the hole which kind of works. DO NOT over tighten this screw or you will crack the buzzer plastic and will have to deal with the full volume of the buzzer, outside of modifications.4. The motor is silent, but at fan speed 5, the plastic of the LED fixture starts to hum/vibrate. I haven't yet figured an invisible way to resolve this, so I just avoid speed 5.4.5 When the motor first turns on, there is a subtle clicking. This only lasts a second and is gone by speed 1. Not sure what causes it but I have two of these fans and they behave identically. So, it must just be the design.

I contacted customer service about the annoying beep (see my original review below). It turns out you can turn it off by holding down the 'breeze/nature' button on the remote for five seconds. I added a start to my rating. The fan is quiet and I like that it has independent control of the yellow and white light, letting you customize the color temperature. You can connect it to Samsung smartthings and control it using Alexa from there. You can use your voice to turn the fan on and off, set the speed from 1 to 10 and turn the light on and off. However! EVERY TIME you issue a command to the fan using Alexa or the remote control the fan beeps loudly. Turning the fan off can wake up the baby in the next room.
