“This is truly a fun packed tour: we enjoyed almost all of the sights, some of the optional tours are also a must! Danko, our tour guide, had made this trip as perfect as it could be! He has art history, culinary, and English teacher background. He is very smart, attentive, and kind. You all could guess how much fun and how much we have learned from him: the culture and history of Yugoslavia, the war, and current Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro are fascinating and emotional for us. My husband plans to read more books from library regarding the break down of Yugoslavia.”

“Smartours is good value for the money. However would like some better hotels in some places. Tour size is pretty good and would not like bigger groups.”

“Excellent tour covering the most beautiful landscape on the planet. Rich history, friendly locals everywhere we went. The guide was very learned and loved to share his culture and country so much that we felt we were on an educational tour with the extra benefit of the surrounding beauty. Well worth every penny spent!”

“There were four of us on this trip. I found our tour guide Danko very informative and fun at explaining the history of Croatia. I was very interested at his knowledge. Because of him everything went according to plan except only one downpour of rain. Can't help that. Everyone on our tour enjoyed each other for two weeks. We also had a very fun driver. Worth every penny we spent. I will be booking another tour soon. Thank you so much for a terrific tour.”

“We were on the Jewels of the Adriatic last month. We were a group of 9 friends from our hometown, with a total of 28 guests on the tour. Overall, I would grade the tour as exceptional! Our guide Mirna was great. She along with Zack our coach driver, made sure everything was taken care of in a very friendly, professional manner. Value for the money was exceptional. The hotels were fine to excellent, city guides were informative, the itinerary was great, and the included meals were fun. This tour has a lot of things packed in it. There is a fair amount of walking involved, probably more than we have experienced prior, but it was just a testament to how packed our schedule was and the things we saw. We have taken a number of Smartours and also tours from similar companies. I don’t think you can beat this experience if you want to tour that part of the world.”
